Beetle Kill Blue Pine Flooring and More
Blue Stain Pine is a result of “Blue Stain Fungus" that spreads to Lodgepole and Ponderosa Pine trees from the body of Mountain Pine Beetles. Blue Stain Fungi are prone to cause a bluish or grayish discoloration of the wood, but it does not affect the strength of the wood or cause the wood to decay. Blue Stain Fungi has no effect on humans, nor will it move from the wood to other mediums.
Our Beetle Kill Blue Pine lumber has been hand selected and milled for flooring and timbers. It is available in differing grades to provide a clean or rustic looking floor as well as for many other applications.
